Pasaran decenios de investigación y aún así será difícil llegar a saber lo que provocó aquella tragedia en el valle de Babel, al pie de las Montañas Blancas. Unos creen que una misteriosa nube tóxica se desprendió de las cumbres de las Montañas Blancas y provocó una reacción de locura colectiva, otros, aunque las miles de pruebas y analíticas efectuadas en los cadáveres jamás dieron constancia de esta posibilidad, suponen que una bandada de murciélagos vampiros, existentes en una de las cuevas, provocaran la rabia colectiva y su locura les llevara a realizar aquella masacre y así varias teorías fueron escuchadas pero todas ellas sin ninguna base científica que se acercara a la realidad de lo sucedido. Lo que sí era cierto es que los hechos provocaron un pánico mundial en los diferentes países ante la posibilidad de que en un multitudinario concierto o bien en un estadio de fútbol, en donde se concentraran 100.000 personas, los motivos que provocaron la muerte canina en Babel, se pudiese producir y esta causara los mismos efectos entre los humanos. Por esa razón, se decidió crear el más importante equipo de científicos en enfermedades y comportamientos caninos, apoyados por los instrumentos de investigación y tecnología de ultima generación mundial, así como por todo el apoyo económico que hiciera falta, para descubrir la verdad..
¿ Que había podido sucederle a aquellos escogidos y adiestrados perros para que acabaran devorándose los unos a los otros de aquella horrible manera?. En sus mandíbulas, aún permanecían vísceras de otros, piernas de otros, rabos de otros. - Solo podían dirigirse a sus perros en el idioma o dialecto regional
- Les enseñarían a conocer su comedero particular cubierto con la bandera Regional

-Solo comerían comida típica de cada una de sus Regiones

Dichos comederos simplemente se diferenciaban por la cantidad de comida que le suministraba a cada perro en función del tipo de Región; osea, las regiones más ricas y desarrolladas permitían dar mayor cantidad a sus caninos que las mas pobres. Una vez instalados en la finca de Babel, el estudio quería saber como sería su comportamiento juntos al cabo de dos semanas en un mismo pero amplio espacio y si había tenido o no alguna repercusión el haber sido adiestrados en diferentes lugares.
Sus adiestradores permanecieron atentos a sus primeras reacciones desde una distancia prudencial y todo sucedió con la normalidad de unos perros que han pasado por un aprendizaje aún siendo de diferentes razas, con lo cual, llegó el momento en que todos debían abandonar el recinto y las cercanías de la Parcela de Babel, y nadie podía regresar hasta pasadas dos semanas, La finca había sido programada para que atreves de un moderno ordenador, se activasen los sistemas de riego así como la recogida automática de sus heces y el diario lavado de los caninos.
