El niño lloraba sin percatarse que los peces le estaban mirando,
-¿Que le pasará a ese niño que los pies sigue mojando...?

--¡¡¡Llamar al Pez Volador y que se entere de lo que le está pasando!!!.

-¿Y a quien le pregunto, si yo no hablo como los humanos...?
-Busca al Loro Real que él sabrá preguntárselo..
Y veloz saltó del río el Pez Volador, con aquel encargo
y a lo largo del río buscó al Loro, esperando no ser devorado.

¡¡¡Vaya, vaya con la orden que me han dado....!!!
-¿quien me mandaría saber volar y no ser más
que un pez, que bajando el río...sigue nadando...?
¡¡¡allí está el Loro...él sabrá como preguntarlo...!!!.

El Loro Real sabía que solo uno podía ayudarlo,
era el Duende del bosque...mucho más pequeño que un Lagarto,
pero de bueno e inteligente... como cualquier anciano
y una vez enterado,corrió hacía el niño que seguía llorando.

-¿Que te ha pasado que los pies tienes ablandando ...y
el nivel del río subió con las lágrimas que sobre él, vas dejando?
-Quien eres que apenas te veo pero hablas tan alto...?
-Soy el Duende del Bosque y los peces, para ayudarte,me han llamado.

-¡¡¡No puedes ayudarme buen Duende...déjame llorar callado..!!!
-¡¡¡No te dejaré llorar mientras no me digas que te ha pasado!!!
-Tengo mucha hambre Duende, tanta...que no sé desde cuando...
¡¡¡¿Y por eso lloras...? ¿ acaso tu madre, comida no te ha dado...?

-Somos muy pobres y por eso lloro aquí, ocultando mi llanto...
que si comemos un día..los otros raspamos lo que ha quedado...
-¿Es verdad lo que me estás contando ...seguro ... ?
-Es verdad, Duende, no soy mentiroso, solo que el hambre me está matando.

Mientras el Pez Volador, le traducía a los peces lo que estaba escuchando,
que rodeando sus pies, en silencio, a llorar comenzaron,
¡¡¡Algo tenemos que hacer....llamar al Delfín Blanco...!!!
él sabrá como hacer para que nunca el hambre le haga llorar tanto.

Y llegó el Delfín, con una vieja moneda entre sus labios
que al Duende le dió y este, al niño puso en sus manos
¡¡¡Aquí tienes esta vieja moneda, frótala cuando la comida se halla acabado
y al despertaros, la casa estará llena de comida...durante cien años.. !!!.

Y desde aquél día, nunca más lloró el niño ni los vecinos del barrio,
que repartieron la comida, que al frotar la moneda...iba llegando
y al río volvió para agradecer a los peces por haberlo ayudado,
pero al Duende del Bosque... jamás logró encontrarlo.
